মোট চা 200 kg. 25 টাকা মূল্যের ও 15 টাকা মূল্যের দুই ধরনের চা প্রথম শর্তের অনুপাতের reverse হয় দ্বিতীয় শর্তে (3 : 1 ও 1 : 3) প্রথম শর্তে, 25 টাকা মূল্যের চা kg = 150kg 15 টাকা মূল্যের চা kg = 50kg সুতরাং দ্বিতীয় শর্তে, 25 টাকা মূল্যের চা 50 kg ও15 টাকা মূল্যের চা 150 kg প্রথম ক্ষেত্রে মোট মূল্য (150 25 + 50 15) = 4500 টাকা দ্বিতী ,, ,, ,, (50 25 + 150 15) = 3500 টাকা খরচ বাচবে (4500 - 3500) = 1000 টাকা সুতরাং লাভ (gain) হয় 1000 টাকা।
